Bob Richards from KBUL in nearby Reno is joining 92.5 The Bull in Sacramento early next month for afternoons, and Sam "Big Man" Cassidy, most recently with KHAY Ventura, will also be coming on board for mid-days. Expect some changes in programming and promotions as well.

My understanding is that they added the "Nash" name as just a place-holder so nobody else could grab it first. Then most likely early next year Cumulus will put the Nash brand (probably Nash Icon) on one of their other frequencies in Reno. That would give them K-Bull is their mainstream country and ...
OK, the latest is that Byron Kennedy will be consulting at 97.3 and Carmichael Dave may be doing a show that will be separate from his Sacramento program. Not sure the signon date for the new format but it will be within a month.
They just signed up Yahoo Sports for the 1270AM signal, which now air CBS Sports. So CBS will now switch to 97.3, which is a great signal. Their new PD is from KFBK so I would guess that its either talk or posssibly news. With Randy Michaels doing all-news in a new way in Chicago and New York and with Reno already having a FM talk station, I think all-news makes more sense.
