52 years is very impressive! Heck, 5.2 years is starting to be impressive at this point!

Besides the standard fly away contest I haven't heard much going on for the Awards yet. Anyone hear of anything unique out there?
I'm not so sure about Country Music Month...that's every month around here!

I thought they were great girls but it's just such a tough market out there right now. I haven't heard anything from them in awhile so I not sure if they are still shopping for a deal or what.

There was a funny comment when everyone was cheering for the Jersey Shore kids and Chelsea Handler said "Don't cheer for them. They are the reason MTV never plays your videos anymore"

I am sure the other morning shows in Nashville are gearing up with this news too!
It will be really interesting to see who they replace him with. That's a daunting task for the new person but also a great gig. I wonder what they will work up for the last show.

Well I saw that he has the top album for this whole week on the Country iTunes chart so that sounds like they are doing well with it. I guess we will see in the coming weeks.
I still like a good CD I can hold. But maybe that's cause my iPod always seems to break!

At least it shows the networks think Country music is profitable. From what I heard its basically gonna be a variety show with a few awards thrown in. I think I would be more apt to watch it if they made it an entertainment show altogether and left the little awards out of it.

With the new Taylor Swift coming out and a Rascal Flatts album they are going to be really busy! I was excited to hear that they got a great new home. I feel bad for some of the smaller acts on the label though but hopefully they will get picked up.

I actually like it! I think if people didn't know who it was they would like it and it would be a nice surprise to find out who it was. I haven't heard much about the movie though so hopefully it's good. I know they filmed a lot in Nashville so that part should be cool to see.

Hmmm...I think the excitement has died down some for her but I think it will still put up some big numbers. I'm gonna go with 400,013.
