CMT Awards Guests

Hey all! I must say I enjoyed the CMT Awards this year but I always wonder why they feel they have to have so many guests from outside of Country music. I feel like the Country music brand can stand on it's own and while some of these collabos are neat there seems to be more and more non-Country faces each year.

I get that they are trying to attract the young demo as well but I hope they know their Country fans still like their Country artists!

Completely agree! I mean I never thought I would see The Biebs share the same stage as Shania Twain. I guess anythings possible...

I have to admit that I missed the show last night but have been hearing rave reviews...I can't wait to catch it this week

I thought Lady A sounded great and I always love me some Zac Brown. I was glad to see Jason Aldean get some good air time too!
Who knows what they will come up with next year though!

I loved all the acts especially when Sugarland reunited the family from Joplin. The crowd and flags looked amazing!
