The last time I can remember a good country radio station in the area was Y-107, which was taken off the air in 2001 or 2002. Why hasn't one been revived? I witnessed thousands upon thousands of guido cowboys at Kenny Chesney's "Goin' Coastal" concert at The New Meadowlands stadium, so I know fans in the area exist. Isn't NYC is supposed to be a melting pot of all different people, backgrounds and tastes? Every fan (including country) should get to hear his/her favorite genre on the radio! I'd love to hear anyone's feedback on this issue.

New country station in the Danbury Connecticut, Putman and upper Westchester County is Cumulus Kicks 1055. Been on the air since January 2010...doing well! Country is alive in this area!! It's working...
