Does anyone screen these ads?

Post by dwc151 » Thu May 14, 2015 11:14 am

Right now there is an ad that lists non existent call letters, offers an unrealistic salary/benefits for what's obviously a podcast, and is openly discriminatory ("attractive women only").

The tiniest bit of research reveals that this guy is some creep that lives in a trailer in the middle of nowhere, without a pot to piss in. I'd hate for some poor woman to end up moving 2000 miles from home to take a "job" with this creep, who obviously can't pay anything since he doesn't even have a radio station to broadcast.

At least give us the option of reporting obvious scam offers?

Spam post (like your talking about) are done by people or machine to create traffic to a website. You can include spam emails to this idea.

Years ago, google ranked a website based on the amount of people that came to your site. Which meant you go top of the list posting when searching for certain terms. Today google doesn't do that, they rank websites to get the top of a list on many different factors. Mainly your location and if the site has real content.
Websites that use the program "wordpress" (which is a good program and very popular) get very little listings because it's considered a "blog" and blogs are fake which report fake news according to google but MSNBC and CNN report real news stories. (go figure)
